Starting in London Izzy went to the Brit school where she started styling and photographing as many people as she could think of. She says that Brit opened her up
to pursuing photography as a career; this is what made her go to Leeds art university from which she has a degree in fashion photography. In moving to Leeds and
growing as an artist Izzy’s works moves away from traditional fashion photography and is far more playful ! Going beyond photography into animation her unique
hands on performance base style is what sets her apart from other fashion photographers.

Izzy’s inspiration process is largely aesthetically driven, she works guided by what brings her joy. The materials she uses are mostly handmade or cheap, Izzy likes to
keep things simple and beautiful. The Colourful tights and tulle are used to distort her corm figure in a fun way. The experimental approach also shows her gravitation
towards female beauty in art. When I asked Izzy how femininity comes into her work she said although she doesn’t consciously work along the lines of female beauty
she appreciates herself as as a female artist, “ I am my practice “ which I thought was a really beautiful way to put it. Izzy explores the female body not just in the fabric
she uses but by using herself as her own muse. She says ‘in terms of weird stuff I feel I can do that better than I can explain it to someone else,
I don’t need to rely on anyone I can just get up of my own accord’. Izzy’s strong drive for independent practice is also what makes her work feel so personal

The last major project Izzy worked on took up pretty much everyday of her week and the dedication to her art definitely shows ! After finishing the project one of the
pictures were chosen by photo vogue as pic of the day. This was a cherry on top of graduating and creating some amazing work. Izzy is unsure what she will be
doing now she is back in London but she does know she wants to keep making art. She said the best thing about not knowing what you’re doing is that you’re
open to all opportunities and is looking forward to collaborating with more people now she’s home. Izzy is for sure one to watch and we definitely will be!
