Olivia Dean, born in North London and growing up in Walthamstow, has taken
influence from the likes of Lauryn Hill, Amy Winehouse and The Supremes. Her beautifully soulful voice celebrates R&B in an original way with an almost poppy feel in places. After taking musical theatre lessons and participating in a gospel choir from a young age, Olivia Dean attended the BRIT School in Corydon and in 2021, she was named Amazon Music’s breakthrough artist of the year and is performing all over Europe. Greentea peng

Neo soul singer and songwriter greentea Peng is from Bermondsey. Her music and image celebrates the black community and culture in South London and outside, capturing the essence of south in her work. Being influenced by Lily Allen, Miss Dynamite and Lauryn Hill Her psychedelic RnB sound will definitely remind you of summer in London. Tirzah

Tirzah from Essex moved to south London which is where she currently resides. Her music is a mix of broken beats, house and RnB vocals. Her song ‘Iʼm not dancingʼ put her on the map in 2013. Since then, ironically Tirzah has continued to create the type of music that youʼd wanna hear at a day party in the sun which I’ve been loving all summer.My top picks from Tirzah are ooo never, holding on and no romance

Jaz Karis

Jaz Karis from south London and a brit school alumni blesses us with her soulful music. With influences from Soul, Jazz and RnB her songs are perfect for listening to with a beer in the sun. She’s got a sold out show this weekend at The Jazz cafe and I can’t wait for her to continue making music. My top picks are, Petty lover, Let me down and her latest single, I want you.

Lily Moore

Lily Moore was born in London and raised in Brighton. Her music is fun, sassy and full of emotion. Her inspirations include, Etta James, Lauryn Hill and Sam cooke. Her soulful voice mixed with her brutal honesty gives her music something unique. My top picks are Better than me, In between and ‘Never wanted you more’
